Refunds & Cancellations
Bookings are non-refundable. What you get in place of a refund is a credit with no expiry date, usable against anything we run. That covers the days we call off as well, so a cancelled trip never costs you the money.
Check-in closes 15 minutes before your window. Arrive after the boat has gone and it counts as a no-show — if there's room on a later departure that day we'll move you across, otherwise you'll pick another date. Build in time for the drive over; the causeway is the usual reason people miss a slot.
Weather
The bay decides, and our certified staff watch the radar all day to read it. If conditions turn we stand the activity down — that call is ours to make, never something you have to argue for.
When we cancel for weather, your booking converts to a credit that never expires, good against any activity. Worth knowing: the Grove side of the bay sits behind Key Biscayne and stays workable in conditions that shut the ocean side down, so weather cancellations here are rarer than visitors expect.
Reservations
Booking ahead— online or by phone — locks a specific departure. If you're travelling in as a group, reserve: it is the only way to guarantee everyone rides on the same trip rather than being split across two.
Walk-upsgo out when there's space, and often there is. But reservations board first, and a large walk-up party is the most likely to get divided. Not worth the risk after a drive from the Beach.
Hours & Departures
We run seven days a week, 10 AM until sunset, all year round, whenever the weather allows, with departures every 30 to 60 minutes. Wind and equipment checks move schedules around, so leave your day some slack instead of booking something else right behind it. Any delay is handled under the credit policy above.
Price Match
We'll match a competitor's price when all of this is true:
- You show the original proof of the deal at check-in.
- That proof names the company, the activity, its duration, the departure time, the total price and the fine print.
- The competitor can be reached so we can verify it.
- They operate out of Miami, Florida.
- It's the same activity and option, on the same day and time.
- Walk-ins only, first come first served.
- Online offers count, Groupon included.
Not covered:tubing, paddleboards, kayaks and Eclipse activities. And our own Groupon offers have to be bought through Groupon — we can't honour them at the desk.
Payment
We can't take:
- American Express
- Apple Pay, Apple Card or any digital wallet
- Prepaid debit cards and gift cards
- Cards without a chip
- Cards in a name that doesn't match the ID presented
The cardholder has to check in personally, carrying the card used to book and a government photo ID — a driver's licence or passport, the physical document. Without both, the booking can't be redeemed as paid. This one catches people out, so check before you set off rather than at the dock.
Parking
Park in LOT 62 and pay through the Pay By Phone app, then walk down to the pier. The lot is run by the City of Miami rather than by us, so anything to do with tickets or your vehicle goes to the city.
At the Marina
Come dressed to get on the water. The pier has no changing rooms, private bathrooms or lockers, and the marina's restrooms are reserved for the residents who live aboard. This surprises visitors more than anything else here — change before you leave the hotel.
There's a shared dock box for shoes and bags while you're out. It isn't secured, so travel light and keep anything valuable out of it. Phones are the only personal item allowed on the activities themselves.
Waterproof cases are sold at check-in. Whether or not you use one, any device you carry on the water is at your own risk.
