Skip the beach traffic, open it up on the bay

An hour on your own ski across protected water, a quarter-hour from South Beach.

60 minfrom$150Ages 16+

An hour, dock to dock, on your own machine. You idle out of the marina through the no-wake channel, and once the guide clears the zone the bay is yours to use. The reason riders come over from the Beach is the surface: this side of Key Biscayne is protected, so instead of slamming through ocean chop you get long, flat stretches where the throttle is actually usable. One or two riders per ski, and the two-up costs less than booking a pair of singles. Drivers need to be eighteen; sixteen and seventeen year olds can drive with a legal guardian riding the same ski. If you were born after January 1, 1988 Florida wants a boater education card — it's a twenty-minute course on your phone, and our check-in desk gets people through it every day of the week.

Frequently asked

Is there a licence or test involved?
If you were born after January 1, 1988, Florida requires a boater education card. The temporary certificate is about twenty minutes online and most people finish it in the car on the way over. The desk will help if you'd rather do it here.
Who is allowed to drive?
Eighteen and over on your own. Sixteen and seventeen year olds can drive as long as a legal guardian is on the same ski. Passengers of any age just need the vest we hand out.
Can two of us share one ski?
Yes, and it's the cheaper way to do it — a two-seater costs less than two singles. You can trade the driver's seat partway through provided both of you are cleared to drive.
